About
Background
Dublin Rose is a 21-year-old singer-songwriter and guitarist from Brisbane, blending indie pop-rock and folk with sharp-witted storytelling, bell-like soprano vocals, and a warm, charismatic stage presence. Inspired by artists like Stella Donnelly, Missy Higgins, Kate Miller-Heidke, Taylor Swift, Beach Bunny, Maya Hawke, and Mitski, Dublin’s music is both relatable and emotionally rich.
She started busking at local markets at just 12 years old, and has since grown into a seasoned performer, playing across Brisbane both solo and with her three-piece band. Her performances have taken her to iconic venues including The Tivoli, The Regatta, Felons Barrel Hall, The Brightside, and Black Bear Lodge.
In 2024, Dublin graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music from QUT. While studying, she was selected as an artist for QUT’s student-run record label, Vermilion—where she met her current bandmates. Together, they went on to win the QUT Battle of the Bands.
That same year, Dublin was a finalist in Brisbane City Council’s QUBE Effect program, taking home the People’s Choice Award. With her debut EP set for release in 2025, Dublin Rose is steadily building momentum, bringing her heartfelt songs to more and more listeners—and turning her lifelong dream into reality.
